- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Winner is a rare combination of clinical researcher and kind patient care. Although it can be frustrating to wait in the exam room (expect to for 30+ minutes), because of his level of research, knowledge and 100% attention during the appointment, it is worth the wait! Dr. Winner answers all my questions, and I ask a lot. He works with me to find the best resolution for migraines (which I've had for 20+ years) and does so within my preferences, values and level of comfort. For example, if changing my diet means not having to take a particular type of medication, he provides dietary options. I am also one who likes to understand the science and neurology behind why I get migraines and what triggers them. Dr. Winner takes the time to explain complex neurological mechanisms in a manner I can understand. I also appreciate the thorough explanation of options I have in treating my migraines.
