- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I am beside side myself with joy today....anyone who has children no matter how old KNOWS that we as parents really wish nothing more than for our children to be happy and healthy... NEVER did I imagine that would be something that would allude my son....he has a neurological disorder that we are trying to get help with so that he CAN be happy and healthy. It has been and continues to be a long and difficult road. Last year he began to lose his sight and so we took him to a "specialist" who didn't help one bit and really gave him/us no hope...but they lowered his glasses and told him that he did have the incorrect script for years....and we believed them.... So yearly check up made and this time with a dr we were familiar with who had taken care of my dad and did so with kindness and compassion. He went on Wednesday....Today he can SEE for the first time in over a year!! This dr. listened...really listened...and was kind and compassionate and had such empathy for my son! We were beginning to think that not only was hope lost but that there were no more good dr's.... They are there and though hard to find as his mom and his advocate there is no stone I will not turn over to find them so that he can WALK again and be HAPPY.
